I like to keep a pair of compact glasses in my purse for occasional use. I purchased this pair and a folding pair at the same time. The folder pair were not good at all. They don't completely unfold and were combersome to unfold and uncomfortable to wear. These were great right out of the box. Not as compact as the folding ones, but better all around glasses.
